YOU AT YOUR BEST,

BUT BETTER

You will do great. You will do great things. We know that.

Youniversity is Gibraltar's first ever student University guide book, written to help you be your best wherever you go.

Written by locals with over 15 years University experience, backed by local businesses. The book is being launched by the Minister for Education himself.

Everyone's backing you to do great things. We'll help you get there.

THE GUIDE IS BASED ON LOCAL RESEARCH

We surveyed up to 100 Gibraltarian University students to understand what problems they have when they go to University. We used that data to answer the bespoke concerns, worries and problems of Gibraltarian University Students. Struggle no more.

MANAGING MONEY

Gibraltarian students cited managing their finances and costs of living as a main concern.

We've written a whole chapter on money and bank accounts. Our guide also tells you about the Government grants, how you can get yourself some extra money by applying for other scholarship grants in Gibraltar, how to bag a job, how to get up to 20% back from your purchases in the UK and more.

Beach better have my money.

WHAT TO TAKE?

We found that a big struggle is knowing which important documents and other items you need to take with you.

That's why we made you a list of essential items. We also give you a list of 99 things you'll probably need at University. Many people forget about the potato peeler.

99 problems, potato peeler aint one.

TRAVELLING SHOULD BE EASY

We found that travelling was a big concern. We think it should be enjoyed not feared.

That's why we have given you details on airline weight allowances, when it is best to book your flights back and how you can bag 1/3 off of your travel costs.

One less problem. Gone. poof.

BEING ALONE

We found that being alone and adjusting to the new lifestyle at University is a big concern. You're not alone.

Feeling this is totally normal, and we'll tell you exactly how to deal with it.

No more forever alone.

WE KNOW YOU'RE GOOD

For every penny you spend on this book, we will donate it to a cause. This year we're supporting those who promote values that most can only aspire to. Values of preseverence, hope and a positive mind. The charities of Pathway Through Pain and RICC are a beacon of that.

WE'VE GOT THE EXPERIENCE.

Our Gibraltarian team of contributors are all students and graduates with different degrees and combined we have almost 15 years of student experience. We've lived the problems and learnt our lessons, so you don't have to.
